I would like to see an intergrated laser kit like you can get for the Colt 45's, that puts the laser in the slide rod, the battery in the hollow of the handle, and on/off switch intergrated into the trigger assy.
I think you mean Lasermax kits for M1911A1, Glocks, Sigs and other more popular handguns. I was looking at their site and it looks like this is the closest thing you can get for your M-A1: Uni-Max Rail Mount Laser: http://www.lasermax.com/product.php?id=104

I only wish trapezoid night sights, but any other upgrades are welcome, because they cant hurt you.

15 round mags for the M357/M40. If Glock can do it, so can Steyr.

Don't everyone start laughing at once, but how about a 9x23 Steyr ? If the new M series Steyrs can get 9mm magazine capacity up to 17/18, then they could do the same with the 9x23. Imagine 18+1 rounds of 357 Magnum ballistics combined with the Steyr M series ergonomics. Of course Steyr would have to be nuts to do this, but this is a wish list, right ? Nobody said they had to be sensible wishes.

"How about just being able to buy new S9-A1's?"
What a novel idea!
I am dropping the L or M 45 from my list since my FNP-45 fits to a tee.
That leaves:
Trap night sights (with Tritium covering the full front triangle)
30 round mag (or BT 26 rounder :D)
Grip plug (with slanted extension below the grip acting as a small mag guide)
Return of the safety

How about just being able to buy new S9-A1's? I need two, and can't find them anywhere.

Mag speed loaders

Grip Plugs

More left-handed accessories
Its going to be a year or so unless the new regime pulls one over us.

I want a 45!!!

You can already convert 40 to 9 with a new slide and barrel.
IGB does/did make a barrel swap. One was pictured here on the board. Barrel was very thick.

1: Trapazoidal Night Sights... Agreed.
2: .22LR Conversion kit... Marvel, preferably.
3: .40 to 9mm and 357 drop-in conversion barrels made by a company like
KKM Precision.
4: Lasermax internal guide rod laser, ( in green while I'm dreaming ).
5: Drop in 3.5lbs trigger upgrade... We're working on this.

And 1 more for the team.

6: Affordable, Available AMMO!

Being new to the Steyer Club I would like to add my novice 2 cents to this chain;

1) Match Barrels (Drop in and 'smithed' variants)
2) Comp Spring Sets with different weights (Wolff?)
3) Links for "Big Taco" - Keep reading about this SS Guide Rod ... no links yet
4) Recoil buffers/bushings
5) Compensator(s)
6) Longer Barrel Lengths (inch or so longer for venting/porting)
7) Larger Mag Release Buttons (the one on the stock M9 is rather of danty)
8) Larger Slide Lock Leavers
9) Redesigned Safety Release Leaver (Designing one now w/ my smith)
10) A tech contact with Styer to discuss weapon modifications

Now again ... being new to the forums if this is already available please just point me to the relevant URL and I will take it from there.

In addition, I would love to hear of any modifications that the more seasoned users have done to their Styer. I love the weapon and the fit in my hand but being a long time Beretta M9 shooter I am curious as to where to locate more accessories.

Again, any mentoring or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
