Hey, I did manage to get a set of the Tri Trap sights installed on a Springfield LW Champ and it shot nice, but it wasn't like just knockin' out the stocker Springfield sights and tappin' the Steyr Tri Traps in. The front dovetail on the slide had to be recut and the back slide dovetail had to be shimmed. I wouldn't consider the dovetail recut if you were gonna go with 3 dot night sights. That project was mostly to prove it could be done and to see how well the sights would perform on this extra 45 ACP I had sittin' around the house. <shrug> Cya.
