I am stuck with only 10 rd .357 mags for my M357 that I have had and love and I can only seem to find M40 mags. Will they work in M357 without issue or madification? Where is a good place to find M357 mags and if M40 will work where is a good place for those. I want to snag three before the politics gets any worse.

Also maybe interested in an M9 or M9-A1 with mags to go with my M357...I love the Steyr's!!!

    Welcome to the SteyrClub!

    .40s work perfectly, a 357 SIG is a 9mm in a necked-down .40 case.

I purchased some M40 10 Round Mags from Steyr and they called me and said they only had 357Sig Mags available but they work the same. OK, so I ordered them and they are flawless in the M40 A1. Same mag only stamped with 357Sig on case. Call up Steyr and verify with them first if they work the other way. My number one Semi Auto hands down.

    Cheers

Not to beat a dead horse, but can anyone verify that the 12rd M40 magazines (LE markd from CDNN) will work in a new M357-A1?
