This may be a stupid question, but it seems stupid to me that owners should have to spend money to fill that ugly hole thats still there once the mag is inserted..

Is there any reason that they were manufactured like this?

I'm not sure if the glocks have them, but there is a shoulder stock for ours.

As to why the glocks are that way, I have no idea.

It would be nice to have a plug come standard since we can't all go the SBR route, but I'm not looking at that end of the gun much anyway...

Nice, that is pretty cool for sure. I see them being only listed for glock 17's but I would assume they'd also fit our Steyr's.

I'm not sure. I wouldn't think the Glock one would fit the Steyr, but I can only assume because nothing else in the guns are interchangeable.

That confirms it for me. I would imagine out of all the accessories that would be difficult to find for a Steyr, a SBR shoulder stock would probably be the most difficult...

The imported some carbine kits years ago - they're around, but rarely go up for sale. The stock alone can be ordered from IGB, but you will either need a crazy long barrel, or NFA the pistol as a SBR.
