Just need to vent as I have no money, impending layoff next week, and I have to go to the gunshop 2nite and sell my 3 month old M9-A1. It's my only gun too. I was going to put it up for sale here but it would take too long to sell. Then I was going to offer it to an Ohioan near Akron/Canton but need the funds by tomorrow. But I'll get another someday and lurk here for a while until then. Damn!

Well the shop here in town gave me $250. They actually had a few M9-A1's and M40-A1's so they'll prolly have them in a few months too. Heck they have had the same 2 USP's in the case for the last 3 years they just move them around from time to time so I'm sure the Steyr's will be there too.

You always lose when you sell to a gun shop...sorry to hear about your layoff. I am glad that I have never had to experience that YET. I did have to terminate 3 people in the last two months. Just think of it as a life lesson and hopefully you will find a better job. I live in PA and I surely would have bought your pistol at that price.

That sucks! Sorry to hear about your trouble, but I do hope it turns out to be a blessing in disguise and your next job is that much more rewarding in all aspects. It's good to have priorities, and hobbies will be there for you when you have the time/means.

Steyr isn't going anywhere and the M-A1's are only going to be more and more available as Steyr begins its marketing push in 2006 (according to rumors).

I hope you took your Mr. Steyr out for at least one good range work over before you had to let it go.
