Was doing some searching and just found this site. I have a GEn 1 M9, Ive had it for maybe 15 years. Not been shot much but I did buy it used from a store. Any idea on the value of this Gen 1 if I were to sell?

Hard to say, not long ago (1-2 years) there were still some used ones being sold off for 350 area by an importer. On GB there is one listed at 750 but I doubt it will get any bids that high. Might watch it and see how the sale goes. You dont see many Gen1 on the market. m9a2 are going for 550, m9a1 450, gen 1 is kinda hard to guess I would say 300-400 would sell it without too much waiting, higher and you are waiting for the right buyer but it’s possible. Above 550-600 and I don’t think you will be able to sell it in the current market, but maybe during the elections.

Thanks for the info! Im not looking to get top dollar for it, it just doesnt fit my collection anymore so probably going to sell it off. I really like it though. Im only aware of my local michigan site MGO, and its pretty easy to use the site so Ill give that a try.

If you sell it here, you're more likely to find people that know what it is.
If you sell it locally, don't get discouraged.
Sold a glock locally and got constant low offers.
Finally sold it to a girl thrilled to save $100-150 off new price.

I'm in Lapeer, might be interested in your Gen 1 M9. I recently sold my M40, as I also have a Gen 4 M40-A1, but I miss the funky, futuristic look of the Gen 1. Message me if you still have it and are fairly close to Lapeer. Thanks!
