CED7000 is a pretty nice timer for practice & family friendly dryfire.
I think shooting steel matches helped my transitions more than anything. I don't worry about spilts yet. Mine are ~.2ish. Moving quick between arrays, especially getting started quick and arriving ready to go are my current focus. Plus just executing the plan properly.
I'm positive that's what improved my shooting this past two weekends. A week ago, two steel matches in two days, then the two USPSA matches and I could literally feel the difference.
I'm back on the Matt Burkett dry fire site, but it's not the same.
