While doing some dry fire practice, I have noticed that my M9A1 trigger does not seem to reset.
I pull the trigger, good click, continue to pull trigger, manualy rack the slide, slowly allow the trigger to go forward, it comes to the full forward position without any noticably (feel or audible) reset.
    Is this a problem?
Pistol is brand new, never fired.
    I have only lubed it.

you may be decocking the striker by accident
does it reset with your finger off the trigger after pulling?

It will reset with the trigger back or released.
What I was trying to explain is the audible/felt click that most pistols make when the slide has been cycled and you slowly let the trigger go forward.

I get less of a sound and a feel than I do with my Glocks, but I still get some audible and tactile reset in my M9.

Pretty normal. The Steyr re set is a lot softer feeling and less audible than a Glock or other striker fired pistols.

I'll bet after a few hundred rounds you end up with a really nice trigger

It also has a shorter reset and less overall trigger travel than a Glock.
