 I came across this and had to pass it on. Really sent shivers through me. A real tragedy  http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/sh ... hp?t=83534
That must have been some kind of a sweetheart deal from HK to do that! Glad I wasn't there that day or I woulda got arrested from Grand Pistol Larceny. It was sad to see all those Makarovs and TT33s die, but Colt 1911s, too! I may never be able to look at an HK pistol again with lust in my heart.
It has nothing to do with HK and everything to do with Germany and the Treaty they signed to block the resale of firearms to third world nations. Of course, that could be a reason to not do business with HK, but it isn't their fault. The holly rollers in the EU don't want to see eastern Europe sell off their stock of firearms to third world nations as they replace those firearms with new western firearms. Of course, this makes no darn sense when we are in a Global War on Terror and there are many friendly third world nations that would benefit from cheap arms. The resale of those old firearms would also speed the transformation of eastern European armed forces. Just another liberal idiotic idea that makes me happy each and every day that my ancestors left the UK and Germany.
I wouldn't know a Makarov from a Tokarev, but I guess you guys do, so here's an email offer I got from J&G Sales for a batch of genuine Polish Tokarev TTC pistols. I guess that's a good thing, but really don't have a clue.
Jack Daniel to go down drain! Here's an outrage that's almost as bad as destroying perfectly good pistols, or it was back in my drinkin' days. Historic Whiskey May Be Poured Down the Drain for Being Sold Without a License This 3-liter bottle of Jack Daniel's whiskey, a size that cannot be sold in the U.S., may be destroyed because authorities suspect they were being sold by someone without a license.
