Apples, oranges, and peanuts, I know. Anyway, on to the pics. First off, my favorite underrated flashlight. DigiLight 1000XB-LE @ $45.00 shipped from Your American Backyard. Pic on Glock Pic on Steyr Pic alone. Pic at night on target: Next up, SureFire G2 Nitrolon @ $30.95 from PDHSC. Pic on Steyr: Pic alone: Pic at night on target: Next up, Streamlight's TLR-1 @ 115.40 shipped from Streamlight-flashlights.com Pics on Steyr: Pic alone: Pics at night on target: Compact, rugged, I like the aluminum housing, the battery clip gave me a scare when it popped open, that bastard was tight. Positive engagement of momentary and constant on. Downside is non adjustable beam, but it throws enough spill light to light the surroundings the way I would adjust it, anyway. Thumbs up.
I lucked out and purchased two of those same DigiLights at the MacDill AFB Base Exchange on sale for $19.95 each.
The DigiLight is probably my favorite of all the 123 tac lights I've handled. Unbeatable value. The only thing I've had to do was put a little loctite on the reflector threads.. for some reason it likes to come loose.
Hey...where the Heck is JNG? Doesn't he design lights for a living? Come JNG..sound off baby. I have to say I'm very impressed with the Digilight for the money. However, I think the winner has to be the streamlight in my book. I love the M-3 and M-6 with the added laser.
