Did Steyr ever make something like the Feinwerkbau 103 Spring before going to the PCP type?

I would like to play around with a nice .177 spring air pistol, but don't want to necessarily invest in the whole SCBA tank and what not. Really wanting an alternative to shoot in my backyard when I can't go to the range for my center fires.

The only one's I've ever seen are the co2 versions, available at Amazon, AirgunDepot, Pyramydair and a few other places, they seem to run about $55 or so
