i have been looking at the pro hunter mountain in stainless steel for some time know. i haven't decided if i want a 223 22-250 or 243, i will mostly be taking head shots at deer and hogs at ranges less than 200 meters. any help deciding on the caliber will be a big help.i have heard conflicting reports oh the P.H. stock some people say that it has a flimsy plastic stock in which the fore end will touch the barrel if you stick a bi-pod on it or lay it on a sand bag, but on the other hand i have also heard that steyr has corrected the flimsy stock problem. does any body on the forum have any experience with the pro hunter mountain and vouch for its accuracy/reliability?
