Steyr Mannlicher phoned me from Austria today, on Eastern Standard Time, as per my location. I offered to buy up a bunch of spare parts for Steyr pistols and then offer them through the forum, until things get sorted out. This was a not-for-profit gesture and a measure to help USA Steyr owners and the company itself.

Instead, because of this, Steyr Mannlicher will purchase back all spare parts that Diamond Trail has in stock in the U.S. and will transfer these to the USA Steyr offices, in order to satisfy this parts demand. This is in the works as of today.

The USA Steyr armorer will be ready to go in the next 15 days. He was being trained in Austria, to service ALL STEYR ITEMS, including the TMP and the AUG, etc...classic arms as well.
He will be both and armorer and a Steyr firearms instructor. He is Ex-FBI and sounds perfect for the job. They will be going after the Law Enforcement market, too and his experience will be of great assistance in this pursuit.

If you have any questions, PM me of post on here and I will do my best to answer them. You can also speak with Steyr directly, as they participate here, for all of the new members just joining.

I will also say that it was expressed to me that Steyr Mannlicher Austria really enjoys this forum and our commitment to them as a company. Keep up the good work. We are all very lucky to have them taking care of us in this kind of fashion, with active participation, unlike 99% of gun manufacturers.

Great, Great news! I know many here in the states are chomping at the bit for new Steyr products (and support for them). Just to clarify, you meant that the US division of Steyr is going to buy back the parts from USA Steyr (aka Diamond Trail), correct? That is awesome news.

Yes sir. This is correct. I told them that they need to bring back the AUG. I love mine. I would easily pay $1200+ for another.

Hey bud,

My discussion with them was strictly about the pistol, but I IMAGINE that TMP and AUG parts will need to be available, because the armorer had to become certified to repair the AUG and the TMP, etc...
