Please help,

I have been desperately trying to find a Steyr M-A1 .357sig. It is a beautiful peace and I like the sights. It fits my hand great! I have been calling around to shops in my area (23601)but no one has them and/or they say that they can't get one.

I have tried to contact Steyr for an authorized dealer but they have not responded to my e-mails.

The resson that I wanted to find it local was that I wanted to trade my SW99 .40 cal for it.

Any suggestions?

Yep I just went to galleryofguns.com and put in your zip code. They show 6 dealers in your area and currently have four 357a1s in stock. Give them a look. They offer a lifetime warranty on any firearm purchased thru them.

MrApathy, Matches and WorldPax,

Thanks for your assistance.

I have contacted a locale dealer via galleryofguns (I want to get rid of my SW99) and I also contacted Madecov.

Wish me luck.

Hey whats a good price for my SW99? Bought New, original SA/DA version with decocker. Less than 250 rnds.

go to gunbroker.com and see what going prices are for the ones that actually sell, not the ones that just keep getting put back up (include closed auctions in your search).
It's the best way I know of to price guns.

Davidson's and RSR are the big distributers that carry the Steyr lines. Ask any local dealer if they have accounts to order from either of those. The advantage to Davidson's is they put their own lifetime warranty on any firearm they sell.

But if he's local to you try Madecov first.

Hey thanks guys I really appreciate your assistance. I have contacted Davidson's and my local shop. I will place an order saturday.

See below:

Hi, and thanks for your inquiry.

I will answer your questions below in the reply. If you have any further questions, don't hesistate to ask or call.

I was directed to your gunshop by the "Galleryofguns" web page. Your
shop is listed as one of there local dealers.

I have few questions;

If I purchase this weapon from you, does the Davidson's Guaranteed
Lifetime replacement apply?

Yes, absolutely.

Will you be my shipping point if I have any mechanical issues with the
weapon?

Yes, Davisdson's will send a call tag to have the weapon picked up from our store.

Does your one year complimentary range pass still apply?

Yes.

I have a SW99 .40 cal that I would like to trade in on the price of
the Steyr how could I work this deal? Would you take the trade in on
the balance (Davidsons asks for a minimum deposit) and then I would pay
the difference?

Yes, you can bring it in, and we will give you a trade figure for that gun which you can use towards the gun.

Your prompt response will be appreciated as I have had a hard time
locating this weapon, and I am interested in purchasing by the end of
the month or no later than Feb. 10, 2006 and Davidson's stock is low.
