After a hiatus last year for Covid, the Steyr Academy is back open hosting classes at the Talladega CMP ranges. There are upcoming AUG Armorer and AUG operator classes in April. Learn more about your Steyr guns and shoot other models. CMP has the amazing Kongsberg system for shooting at 100, 200, 300 and 600 yards. There is an unknown distance steel range out to 640 yards. The AUG classes include moving targets and other fun courses of fire. We also have Steyr Scout, Precison Rifle, and Pistol Armorer classes.

What's going on with the Steyr Academy now? The website has been dead for weeks and the Steyr USA site doesn't mention it.
Is it shut down?

Lots of changes at Steyr, but we are in the process of coming back online soon with Academy offerings. I will be scheduling some classes at Governors Gun Club in Kennesaw GA, just north of Atlanta. Once a few more things are figured out, I hope to have some AUG armorers and operator orientation classes (1 day) going in April, and working on plans for the 2 day AUG Carbine Course later in the year once I figure out an appropriate outdoor facility. I am also looking at taking the courses to clubs around the US if they can meet some requirements and numbers of students. Once I get the website and email set up, I will post it here.
