Is it just me? The web site for me at least has slowed down kinda like dial up slow :wall:

It takes forever to load a single page  Is it just me all the other sites I frequent are fine.

    Have I missed something

    super slow here also.....

    sometimes locks up my browser....

    BOTH IE and FireFox....

so long as I have SteyrClub open in a tab, I can HEAR my PC fans get louder... in response to much higher Processor cycles....

...close ONLY steyrclulb tab, and fans slow down, and processor usage drops significantly...

Oh so slow here also. Had not noticed the snow having slowed it down previously. Was not on line yesterday, but did not have a speed issues on Friday.

It is really damn slow for me also. So much so that it pisses me off and I just close the site completely.

There is no reason to site here and look at the new posts if they take minutes to load. I came into the forum issues part to complain and low and behold there was already a thread. Yay. :\

Web server needs to be rebooted. Waiting for that to happen. Should fix speed issues...

If the server needs to be rebooted, have you looked into whether or not your web server or web host provider is under a network attack?

The "Slow Down" seems to come and go for me. One minute everything is fine, the next a page takes 2 minutes to load.
Seems to me that this started about the time of the new look? Maybe Si, Maybe No?

Hopefully the reboot will solve it.

Now for the next dumb question... Are there scheduled times for maintenance when search engines won't work? It seems like every-other time I log on I can't go to "new Posts" or use the search module. Just a minor inconvenience, and I'm curious.

Hey Rich I had not noticed that but now that you mentioned it I did a search for m9-a1 and this is what it said....

"No posts were found because the word m9-a1 is not contained in any post." :naughty: :naughty:

Oh well at least it told me faster than dial up
