Is there anybody no were to get a trigger job on my SSG69
Any one no who makes a tactical stock for SSG69
Makes a better mag than the factory mags for SSG69
I did my own. Basically, I used the trigger stones I got from Brownells and lightly smoothed and then polished the trigger and sear interface. Then adjusted with the trigger using the included set screws.
It's been a few years, so I can't tell you which screw does what, but basic research and some tinkering will answer that for you. As triggers go, this was an easy one to tune, I do recall that.
Mine now breaks at a hair under 2# for the standard trigger and maybe 7-8 ounces for the set trigger. It is Brutally CRISP and I cannot imagine it being any better...and I've got some very good triggers to compare this to.
If you aren't comfortable doing a little trigger stoning/polishing. Most any competent gunsmith can figure it out.
Regarding your stock and Magazine questions:
McMillan is said to make a good one for this rifle.
My PII stock is comfortable and stable and the rifle shoots very well.
I've never seen any factory style-aftermarket mags for this platform.
The only option I've read about is tracking down an aftermarket metal DBM and switching to AICS type mags.
