just purchased a springfield xd-9 today for $300 with 2 ten round mags i think thats a pretty good deal at least i hope it was.i plan on going shooting this weekend so il let you know how it does along with how my m40 does to but we shouldent have any problems with that. :lol:

That's a good deal. If I could have found and XD for $300 when I was buying, I probably would not have bought the M9. I love the feel of the M9 but I am still waiting for word back from the repairshop on its fate.

Yes, that's a good deal. A friend of mine has an xd-9 and I've compared it with my M40. Let us know what you think.

I sold my 40 due to SA no longer offering replacement parts and the frame rail cracks but it was a good gun. I had the XD 40S&W Service OD but after the parts thing and the frame rail issue, lifetime warranty or not, It's GONE. Good luck with yours.
