Something just seems odd, NIB augs for low cost?

I looked on an auction site and saw a few USR aug's listed as unfilred, nib going for about 1500. Does this make sence? I mean I don't actually own an aug, but if I knew you could get a NIB one for only 1500 I'd have saved up for it. I always thought a used would be 3000 to 4000. Sounds fishy, but then again maybe I need to do more research.

    Any thoughts from the pro's?

    Aug conversion

Just a guess, but maybe it's a conversion of an AR-15. CDNNSports.com is offering the below conversion kit.

So far as I know, genuine Aug rifles cannot be imported or sold in the U.S. due to federal sanctions on Steyr, which will be expiring at the end of this year.
