Nothing much happening here so I thought I'd post some pics.

Current config, Eotech and Aimpoint 3X magnifier on a Samson quick flip mount

With Trijicon Accupoint and BR-tuote reflex suppressor.
The Accupoint wasn't right for this rifle, it has a really long eye relief, had to pull my head back. Also the rings I had were too low, so all in all it was pretty uncomfortable with the Accupoint.

With the 20" barrel and bayonet

With Trijicon ACOG, 20" barrel and 42rd mag.
The ACOG on the other hand had too short an eye relief I felt, I had to slightly crane my neck to use it properly.

Wintery pic with ACOG and brass catcher

Insanely badass pictures!!! I'm sooooo jealous - the rifle and all that gear would cost a sizable fortune over here in the states, and all the BATF paperwork would be a nightmare 8-O

Care to share a round-about figure of how much all that set you back?

Thanks for the compliments.

I try not to think about how much money I've invested in it 8-O
Well, for the price of the rifle and the extra barrel (including shipping and export permits from Austria etc) I could have bought three basic AR-15s, I think (at Finnish prices, mind you).

About the flip mount. In the third and fourth pic from the top you can see the toggle, it's the thingy sticking out at about 45 degrees on the right side.
The mount is spring loaded, when you push the toggle, the spring flips the magnifier to the side. Then you can just push it back "on" with your hand when you feel like it.
The flip mount also has a quick detach mechanism so you can take the whole unit off the rifle quite easily, too. Visible in the fourth pic from the top.

Hello fellow Finn (and everybody else too). Very nice setup you have there. I was browsing this forum and when I first saw your posting and then spotted my own AUG in another thread I had to register.

So, here is my AUG, photo taken about 2 years ago and posted in another forum where someone picked it up and posted here:

What a noob mistake, i forgot the magazine. Now its too dark to take any fresh shots so it will have to do :x

It is damn dark and still getting dark earlier and earlier...
(WTF I wrote "d-a-m-n" and it got crossed out? 8-O What is this, 18th century bible school? :? Let's try some other horribly dirty and offensive words like: heck darn tarnation ...)

But we'll be waiting for new pics of your rifle.
The green stock contrasts nicely with pics of my rifle

New pics I took today.

Just got the Samson Quick Flip Mount back (it wouldn't close properly and flipped open unintensionally while firing).
Took less than two weeks to the US and back, good warranty service. I think I got a brand new replacement one.

This is what the flash hider looks like after using the suppressor :)
