I may be wrong, but it seems like I saw a post somewhere that a Sig holster works great for the M-series. I just can't remember is it was the 225, 228, or 229 Sig holster. Can anyone help? Thanx.

It was a Sig 229 for a Fobus holster. See thread.

It fits only the Steyr S unless you modify it by cutting part of the end of the holster off for the longer M pistol. As you see from the thread, the fit may not be optimal.

I modified a Fobus Roto SG21 holster for my M9 for practical pistol matches and it works pretty well. I wouldn't recommend the Roto unless you really need to have variable cant angles since it puts the pistol a little farther out from the body and that little bit of cantilever can cause the pistol to hang if I'm not careful with the draw. Otherwise the Fobus holsters are good value and the paddle style is very secure and comfortable.
