Does anyone have any info on the availability of the Scout & Tactical Scout. It seems that there isn't much info out there on their current availability & price.

CDNN has a special on some of the Scout rifles.

If I can find some time, I have catalogs from Steyr for all of their products, including the highly sought after Small Arms for Military and Law Enforcement catalog. I will try and get them scanned soon.

Thanks for the reply. I've dealt with CDNN many times. The Scouts they seem to have are, IMO, oddball calibers that someone is trying to get rid of since CDNN does alot of close-out work. The .308 is the only caliber I'm interested in because of it's usefulness. The Tactical Scout is my prefered model in that caliber. Looking forward to seeing your scans posted.

Sure would love to see Steyr offer a left-handed Scout. I keep holding off on getting a Savage in hopes that Steyr will someday come through.

Don't know if this is still an option, but I got mine at Bass Pro/ Cabela's. I wish I had know about the elite at the time, but my .308 scout fits the Colonel's specs which is what I wanted.
