Have had a MSAR for years. FINALLY, I came across a Steyr AUG, an acquaintance had, and now it is mine. Whoopee!

In learning more about it, I discovered it has the roller bearing carrier.

Was wondering if perhaps anyone here might know about when Steyr began using those.
Maybe by date or by serial numbers??

Any data would be appreciated!!
