I would consider going (I'm up in MD) but I have no money It's a darn shame because I'm about to start building an AR-15, and I need mags!!!
buy some good mags when you get the money. I like cproductsllc.com ar15 mags they have some in stainless. used to have bulk order discount not sure anymore. ar15 mags sell like hotcakes check ar15.com buy/sell section for deals. used to be able to find them for $10 a piece milspec ar15 30round or 20 might be up now due to inflation look around and dont get taken to the cleaners but watchout for junk
Yeah, the only catch is I have to buy them out of state, or find someone out of state who can buy them for me. In MD it's legal to own hi-caps, you just can't buy/transfer/manufacture them within the state. It's freaking retarded, but that's how it works. I'll do some studying on AR15.com and see what's good. I know to look for the USGI mags with the green followers. I was in the Army for a bit, but I can't remember exactly what markings to look for. IIRC the official USGI ones from Colt have stampings on the floorplate... I'll look around..
saw a few M9-A1's and M40-A1's, prices ranged from 399.00 to 475.00. no s9-a1's so i bought: grade c but the only wear more than normal is at the muzzle. less than 600.00 out the door...
