I have a M9A1 and want to replace the stock barrel with one that I can put a Silencer/Suppressor on it. I need help figuring the following:
1. The replacement barrel
2. Some good units out there that seem to work good.
3. I believe I have to do some type of Registration of some sorts. What do I need to do?

Thank you,
David

You just need to get a threaded barrel and that is it for the pistol. the registration part comes from when you pick out your suppressor.
If you do not need to do anything with the pistol it will make no differences in the current ownership. Is depending on your state if you live in a free one picking out your suppressor and doing your taxstamp will register the suppressor which can be moved to anything that is capable of suppressing it will take basically 12 months once everything is paid for to get approval.
You can go right to styers website and order a threaded barrel for your M9-A1. I think they are $200 ish
