Hey guys. I have an M9 and just love it, but I'd really like to get a light/laser mount for home defense. Is this something I can reasonably do on my M9 or do I have to pony up the funds and move up to an A1? Your help is very much appreciated!!!

I sent an email to MDW yesterday to check on this and haven't heard anything back yet. If I get time tomorrow I'll call and if I get any good news I'll post it back here.

What would the club recommend for a nice bright light/laser setup that is somewhat on a budget? I've been looking at the Surefires, but I didn't know if there are other brands that are close without the steep price.

light/laser combo units are pricey regardless of manufacture so far.
it stunning to specially with ton of led/laser pens coming in from china selling for less than $10 hold up pretty well.

I'd be very interested to hear your story of how you got the device as I may be going down the same road. I emailed the American company a couple days ago and haven't heard anything back. Today I called their number (M-F 9-5) and kept getting the fax song. Eventually I got a voice mail and said that I'm interested in purchasing an item and left my number. As of this evening I haven't heard anything back...so I wouldn't be surprised if I'm going to have to look at different avenues. Please elaborate on how you got ahold of your's.

I'd like to join the purchase party for a rail adapter for our Ms and Ss, too.
If we get enough buyers in the group, maybe we can make something happen. I'm needing 4 adapters.
I tried a company in Florida, but mostly what I got was a polite brush off. Hopefully, others might be more successful.
Let me know what to do to assist.......Thanks........

If I do hear something about a rail adapter for the M I'll let the board know right away. Anything that keeps me from having to pay for a A1 when I have a M9 that is perfectly fine...

Just a brain whatever.....but has anyone ever tried carefully cutting out the material in the rail slot? Would a standard rail adapter or accessories then fit? Any ideas :?: comments :?: Will it work :?:

MDW finally called back and said that they don't have them in stock, but they could get them. The guy said that he would email the price and address for me to mail a check, then I could wait for an undetermined ammt of time for them to arrive from far away. I told him there were other people interested, but I still haven't gotten the email. He did say they were probably around $80 which is still a better deal for me then getting a new A1. When I get the email I'll post the info back here.

The guy from MDWGuns seems to be a little flaky. He said he would email me w/ the info to send a check, but he didn't. When I emailed him back he replied that they were out of stock until November and to check back then. I guess I'll try again in November unless I can find another option...
