Hi all,

Looking for a price on an m9a1 with a safety. I though I saw on the GT site that someone got one for $425 shipped from a place in Florida.

Anyone have any info?

a limited quantity were imported w/ safeties. Apparently it was going to be optional, then they decided to just do away w/ it.
No one knows how easy it is to put one in, or if it can be added as a factory aftermarket, or what.

Thinking about getting a 9mm Steyr pistol, was initially thinking about the M9, now considering the M9A1 and reading some of the posts about a manual safety, anyone have any pictures they can post or direct me to a link that shows what the M9A1 manual safety look like? Thanks.

On my A1, no safety, I can see if I tilt the frame where the safeties would go, they look like shinier(than the frame) oblong spots, so drilling them out wouldn't be a problem. But there is no indication in the trigger guard area of where the safety would drop down so that may be the difficult part. Just my input.
