HELP. I dropped my M-40A1 today and it fell onto some concrete. Now the bottom corner of the grip has a bugger. Is there a way to fix the polymer or do I just sand it smooth? Is heating a option? Ideas anyone. Thanks Richard
proof positive... the drop safety works. if it's just scuffed, i'd just sand it smooth. if you're missing a chunk, you might be able to find a body shop that could add some material using a plastic welder and then reshape the material. hit it with a bead blaster to put a very similar finish on it. you might try calling SAI and seeing what they would do for you. i've noticed that things like this always look worst immediately after happening. a couple days from now, it might not even bother you. as far as i'm concerned, if my truck had a straight bumper, it wouldn't be MY TRUCK anymore... you know? good luck.
I have never heard of a truck with without a dent, unless its just driven off the showroom floor. Worst thing, I did the same thing to my GB right after I got it too. Guess that make me a butter fingers  I never heard of a plastic welder before. The sandpaper was my first thought too Thanks for the advise! Richard.
