I think I like the looks of the M series better without the light mount. More sleak and svelt......like a 40's pin-up 8)

You can do a lot with Photoshop. Take pic of gun on a contrasting background color. Then use the color range selector to select only the shades of black & gray on the gun, and paste that cut out gun shape onto a new uniform color background. Add a little angled shadow to the gun layer. That's how I'd try it anyways. While you're at it, you can X out some of the digits in your serial number too.

Great pics. How did you get it to float like that though? 8-O
Thanks. Yes it was a bit of Photoshop (the shadow), but I got it to float by hanging it upside down using fishing line and retouching out the line :D

Here's the unretouched image . . . .

double_action, What kind of equipment do you shoot with?

I ask as I'm an amature photo nut as well. I shoot a Canon 20D.

Very nice shots and PS work!

Sorry for the late reply tooth, I've been on vaction.

I have a Nikon D100. Those pics were shot with natural light diffused though white window blinds in my office. The lens was old manual focus 24mm/2.8.
