I pretty much knew nothing of Steyr, other than hearing their name mentioned in a Jack Reacher book or two.

I was at my LGS the other day, with a couple of bucks to blow. In the clearance case sat a L9 A2. I couldn’t take my eyes off of it. Felt great in the hand, looked awesome. Best part was the price- Brand new and on close out for $525. I took a couple of days and then pulled the trigger on it! Haven’t shot it yet, but I can’t wait. I have a feeling this might be the start of a new brand addiction!

Welcome and good find. They are solid guns but very soft shooting. I didn’t know they were listed in any of the reacher books. I started with a L9 off a review and now they are the most prevalent gun I own.
