Awesome, enjoyGrabbed my first 3 weeks ago, brand new from LGS. Pretty surprised at the date codes though. Frame made in '17 and trigger housing cast in '16. I guess they were planning on discontinuing the A1 for a while now.

The pistols together after a cleaning. 3 L9s as one was my main go to, one was a experiment for a red dot, and the A2. Plus a S9 for carry during the hot months
Big one, fixes most of my complaints about the system. New extractor that doesn’t lob the rounds onto you hat for the slide. Is nice as I got one that landed between me and glasses once. The rest is in the grip, panels are nice for the fit, grip texture is near perfect for me, flared Magwell makes reloadsfaster, and full rail is easier for light at the right placement. Problems still exist is no optics ready variant so stuck with milling and the original L9A2 in the country had the serialized part as the trigger group same as p320 was nice so maybe upgrade modules(colors, sizes) or new accessories but they took that away with the next batch. So two issues remainVery Cool collection !
In your experience the MF is an improvement over the old A1 ?
Yeah, I've never seen any A1s dated after "WY" ('17). I believe Steyr started production/development of the A2 by 2018, and did not want to have a significant inventory of A1s around when the A2 was released. What???
