Come today: Vaultek LifePod + Sling Bag Combo from the BlackFriday offer of Vaultek.
In addition (not in the picture) the Guardian Accessory Kit with additional cube foam padding, lid insert for cards and IDs and an additional longer steel rope for security.
Now I have beside my VT20i for at home also a small portable solution for on the way ...

For those interested in the Vaultek LifePod, here's some info on how many magazines there is room for in addition to the L9-A1 when one magazine is already inserted:
If you take out one of the two floor cushions, you get in a total of 3 magazines.
If you take out both floor cushions and leave only the thin lowest foam layer inside, up to 4 magazines are possible:

Grabbed my first 3 weeks ago, brand new from LGS. Pretty surprised at the date codes though. Frame made in '17 and trigger housing cast in '16. I guess they were planning on discontinuing the A1 for a while now.

Originally had a mro on it but moved that to the mdrx and put the rds pro from meprolight on. Really like the optic but how wide it is means it can go any further forward without stoping the charging handle from sliding into the hold. Other then that fairly big issue I do like it. Maybe I’ll swap them back as the mdrx doesn’t have that same issue.

TRIJICON has a older model reflex sight the RX34 seems like would be a good rugged option. I have 2 of them on rifles and love them both. The field of view is excellent and the build quality are superb and the features are great. Fiber optic/ tritium reticle choices ect.

What???
The pistols together after a cleaning. 3 L9s as one was my main go to, one was a experiment for a red dot, and the A2. Plus a S9 for carry during the hot months

Very Cool collection !

In your experience the MF is an improvement over the old A1 ?

Big one, fixes most of my complaints about the system. New extractor that doesn’t lob the rounds onto you hat for the slide. Is nice as I got one that landed between me and glasses once. The rest is in the grip, panels are nice for the fit, grip texture is near perfect for me, flared Magwell makes reloadsfaster, and full rail is easier for light at the right placement. Problems still exist is no optics ready variant so stuck with milling and the original L9A2 in the country had the serialized part as the trigger group same as p320 was nice so maybe upgrade modules(colors, sizes) or new accessories but they took that away with the next batch. So two issues remain
Yeah, I've never seen any A1s dated after "WY" ('17). I believe Steyr started production/development of the A2 by 2018, and did not want to have a significant inventory of A1s around when the A2 was released.
If anybody has a WT or WD A1, let us know!
My L9-A1 is "only" a WH … ;-)
