New Savage 99 purchase

I'm excited and had to tell someone. I just bought a scoped circa 1955 Savage 99 in 300 Savage for $200, in very good condition. My grandfather called and asked if I wanted one, and said his friend wanted to sell it. I bought it sight unseen.
My current deer rifle is a 1954 Savage 99 in 300 that grandad bought in the '60's from an elk hunter in Colorado. It has 10 notches in the buttstock from his elk harvests. The new rifle is reputedly in even better shape.
Grandad also has one in 250-3000 Sav. and another in 308 Win. that I've yet to talk him out of.
