Just ordered my first Steyr product today. I have a new SA1 in 9MM on the way. I have heard alot of good things about the build quality and the shootability of the Steyr pistols. I've carried all-steel pistols for a long time and my back is really starting to give me fits; thus the desire for a lighter carry gun. I hope I made a good choice with the SA1. Most complaints I have been able to find have been related to new guns having issues until they are broken in. It seems Steyr's customer service has a good reputation as far as taking care of customers. I have alot to learn about Steyr and some may say I took a risk ordering a pistol I have never held but I live in erea that is as close to wilderness as you can still find in the south. Going to a mega-store and handling alot of guns just isn't an option. I could not find one person on youtube or anywhere else that said they did not like the ergonomics of the gun so I am confident I will be pleased. I passed on a good number of well-made guns to go with the Steyr. I know accessories are limited on them but I don't need alot of them. Probably will update to night-sights and that's about it. Thanks for all the info that is to be found here. Hopefully, I can work well with my new Steyr.
