Found this forum while researching 9mm steyr loads. Bought some factory loads from Graf. Bought a 1912 on gunbroker and it will be here next week. Somebody ground the marks on the slide, so I wasn't too disappointed for $249. A few years back I found a pristine slide in a Connecticut antique shop for $15, so that's what I'll be putting on it. I've wanted a Steyr Hahn for a long time, but couldn't find one at a good price. I also wanted an occasional shooter, which this will be, because I hate having any guns around that don't shoot. I have some old ammo, in the sealed 16 round box that I'd rather not use, and some strippers that were supposed to be for my C-96, but are only 8 rounds, so they're probably for the 1912.
I'm looking forward to hearing from other 1912 owners, and I'll post pictures when the gun gets here.

Grafs and Sons has 9mm Steyr for about $30 box of 50. They also have brass for about $25/100. I've already got a 9mm shell plate and 38 super dies for mt Square Deal, so I'll probably load up a box or two.

Funny thing happened on weds night. I went to a monthly meeting of a local collectors club (Fort Constitution Arms Collectors) and found a box of 9mm in Steyr strippers. Headstamp was 6-51. 40 rounds in five 8 round clips. Had the pointed stell jacketed bullets. Wondering if they could have been for a 1912 the Germans converted to 9mmP. The box was opened right across the label. All I could make out was '9mm' and what looked like Hungarian lettering.
At worst, I now have 5 strippers I can use instead of the 7.62x25, and 40 rounds to run through the Luger. For $4 I can't complain too much. Be glad when the gun gets here.

My (new) M1912. The slide that came with it is ground and probably forced matched, so I don't feel bad about putting on the Romanian contract slide. Already located new grips for it, and I had it on the range with some Grafs reloads. I like shooting it, and I'll be getting some brass from Grafs too..
