New M9A2 owner here…

Just acquired one of these beauties. Been a fan of the A1 since I first saw one but never had an opportunity to own one. This A2 came up and I had to grab it. Fits my hand like a glove. I dig the high grip low bore axis. I’ve owned several CZ clones over the years so I’m familiar with the concept.
this thing is just so comfortable. I haven’t even tried any of the other grip modules. May have to play around with that, but it seems pretty hard to improve on the feel of it right now.
I’ll post first impressions once I get a chance to take her out. So far though my impression out of the box is very good.
glad to have found this forum. Nice to see that Steyr has such a loyal fan base. I love the history and the quality of the firearms and am interested to learn more. Fun fun fun!

P.S. I traded a Glock for it, and so far I am not disappointed. The only thing Glock has going for it the aftermarket support, but I’ve never been one to “Gucci” out my guns anyway. Guns are tools, not fashion accessories. It doesn’t hurt that the M9A2 is a sexy beast though.

Welcome and nice buy. I agree, it’s a great pistol, the A2 does have a distinct look and feel to it. In my opinion it’s one of the more futuristic looking guns out there

Welcome! Love my M9-A2 MF as well! I was always a big HK fan, thought my VP9 felt perfect in my hand, and then I tried out the M9-A2, which absolutely locks into my hand. Love it so much, it started an obsession, lol! Recently acquired an unfired M40 Gen1 and a Gen4 M40-A1. Anyways, enjoy!
