Hi all, just picked up my new m40 last week, had a range day yesterday. Wow I'm impressed, great ergos and the quality is really good. No malfunctions, everything worked perfect. Went through about 200rds of 180gr fmj federal and fiocchi. First time with a 40, I have three glocks 9mm, not hard at all to shoot, the recoil is really pretty easy to take, but I notice the bigger pop. Now I am searching for a holster, I've seen the galco models and they are ok, wondering if anybody makes a kydex or polymer type yet?

For a M40 as opposed to M40-A1, you'll need to use some of the holster makers here on the site. M-A1 and S-A1 are available from BladeTech.

Send a private message to user amybullock13 - she works for Blade-Tech and can get you a deal on a kydex Steyr holster. I used one of their rigs to carry my M9A1 daily for over 6 years - wear on the slide was very minimal.
