Guns & Ammo's Handguns magazine just did a feature on the P3AT. You might want to look it up.

I did a lot of cleaing and deburring on mine before I tried to fire it. (Without a comparison) It worked well for me. If I remember right the break in period is 100 rounds and it seemed like most of the problems were worked out in about 50.

I carry mine in a Uncle Mike's inside the pocket holster. I don't carry it very often because of the caliber and its small for my hands.

I guess the big three accesories for it are a pocket clip (replaces need for holster) an extended mag, and a laser sight. The laser site also helps it "print" better. eBay usually has them for about $100. Personally I'd never get one but they do seem kinda fun.

All I can say is that a while back I handled a KelTec. Can't remember the model.

This was during a "quest" for a pocket pistol.

I remember being totally unimpressed with the KelTec. It felt cheap, flimsy, poorly made, and I could see manufacturing flaws immediately. One example is small shavings of plastic dangling off the frame in places.

There's no way I could've justified buying it.

I know some people love 'em, and that's great. And I'm always looking for a bargain. But the KelTec never felt like a good piece of machinery to own. It did not scream out "trust me and rely on me" like a firearm should - at least not to me.
