Is that the model with the rear sights up near the ejection port? When it comes in and you get it to the range let me know what you think, I've never talked with anyone that had one prior to the recall...thanks

No I just ordered the three dot sight model.Your thinking of the quicksight one.At one time I had the model 'C' that I used as my CC weapon.

Yes, that's the one How did the old models compare to the Steyrs(pointability, ergos, etc.)? Did you enjoy the pistol as much?

I liked them more in different ways.After trying so many striker fired guns I settled on the Caracal,but the recall mess kinda put a stop to buying more.Hopefully they have their stuff together this time around.I should be getting mine in sometime this next week,will post a write on it as well.

Received my new Caracal last week and been to the range with it twice.Flawless through 200 rounds and very good accuracy.The controls are the same from the older models,the frame is made in the UAE and slide is made in the US.The trigger could be better and you have to completely let it out for it to reset,don't understand why the long reset.Overall I like the pistol and will get another one later this year.Will post pics in a few days if I remember how!

I just got my Enhanced F yesterday . I love the gun but the trigger is horrible compared to the original . I'm hoping they come out with a trigger kit or upgrade for it. Yes it's much longer than the original you have to let it out almost all the way before it resets.

Yes the trigger does need a lot of work,it doesn't travel all the way to the rear but I don't like the long reset.At 500 rounds through mine as of last Sunday and picked up a few extra mags tonight.Hope they change some things or offer a fix later on,otherwise I like it so far.

Anything new from Caracal regarding trigger updates?

My old C had a smoking good trigger compared to my old G19, now I'd say the replacement F is inferior. Sad.

Plus, it seems snappier and beats up my thumb on the beaver tail. Like to know what all changed.

Nothing new I emailed them a few times and complained about the trigger.The new model F is nowhere good as the older models.Its been reliable and accurate,now to find a good fiber optic front sight.

Yeah the trigger reset is a joke,I never did warm up to it.Might trade mine off later next year and just buy another Steyr.
