A while ago I got a gen-1 S9 for a good deal on GB. I liked quite a few of differences that it had from the A1s on it for use as a CCP (LCI / manual safety) but I always wished it had a rail so I could mount a light. Well, a couple of months ago I ended up getting a 3D printer and got to work.

After a couple of months of trial and error in my off time (40 iterations between 5 versions) I finally have something that works. It grips well to the old proprietary accessory system and only has the tiniest bit of play with a light on it. It even has a cut out on the bottom for the serial number. I took it to the range the other day and did 50 round mag dump through it with no issues.

Pretty happy with the end result and thought I'd show it off here.

If there's any interest I can put a posting up in the classifieds if anyone else wants one.

I also think it would be pretty easy to adapt it to a Gen-1 M series but since I don't have one I would need a volunteer from the community to take some measurements on theirs and agree to be a guinea pig for the first few test fits.

Sorry, the late reply to everyone, my notifications were turned off and I didn't check the tread - it's only been 2.5 years. I still have the model files and I can still produce them if anyone is interested. I can do them in pretty much any color, providing I have the material on hand. As for how it attaches, the adapter has just enough flex that it can fit over pistol and then it securely snaps in place. I don't have an M9 to model off of, so I don't have one of those available yet, but if there is still interest and someone has a Gen 1 and a set of calipers I think that we can probably work something out. I'm asking $30 shipped anywhere in the US.
