·I'm so happy I've finally found a true Steyr forum.
I've been shooting for about two years now, and even though most of my firearms are rifles, the first firearm I ever purchased was a Steyr M9.
I'd been looking into buying a 9mm pistol and I'd been eyeing the Ruger P95 for about a month, and when I went to a Gander Mountain to finally buy the pistol, lo' and behold, I found a Steyr pistol! I'd read about the M series pistols, but I had never seen one, and I figured they would be around the prices AUG's are (I've been dying to get an AUG for years). I was shocked at how inexpensive the Steyr was and I bought it on the spot.
here in Illinois we have a three day "cooling off period", so once I has out of the homicidal rage, I looked the pistol up online and I could not believe how much more I liked this new pistol over my shooting buddy's Glock 17 (which gets all the praise). In the end, when I finally brought the pistol to the range I could not have been happier with my purchase, and now I could not be happier to have found a Steyr forum.
Now, everyone is going to have to help me get an AUG. Please? I'm disabled (I really am...no joke) and I'm only short about $3000 of the $3000 they cost now.
