I'm so happy I've finally found a true Steyr forum.

I've been shooting for about two years now, and even though most of my firearms are rifles, the first firearm I ever purchased was a Steyr M9.

I'd been looking into buying a 9mm pistol and I'd been eyeing the Ruger P95 for about a month, and when I went to a Gander Mountain to finally buy the pistol, lo' and behold, I found a Steyr pistol! I'd read about the M series pistols, but I had never seen one, and I figured they would be around the prices AUG's are (I've been dying to get an AUG for years). I was shocked at how inexpensive the Steyr was and I bought it on the spot.

here in Illinois we have a three day "cooling off period", so once I has out of the homicidal rage, I looked the pistol up online and I could not believe how much more I liked this new pistol over my shooting buddy's Glock 17 (which gets all the praise). In the end, when I finally brought the pistol to the range I could not have been happier with my purchase, and now I could not be happier to have found a Steyr forum.

Now, everyone is going to have to help me get an AUG. Please? I'm disabled (I really am...no joke) and I'm only short about $3000 of the $3000 they cost now.

$3000? I'd like one too, but I'm short $5000. Hey, I need money for ammo, too....:):)

Welcome to the club. My M9 was also my first handgun, and was suggested to me by CGuns - another of our fine club members - who I have known for several years from various other cyber forums.

I couldn't be happier. In fact, I was so happy with the M9 that the first time I held an S9 I bought it immediately! :).

Again, welcome - and don't forget to sign up for our Postal Match if you're interested and vote for the target type we will use:

Welcome to the club! Enjoy your stay.

As for AUG, there is always TM Airsoft AUGs that look and feel just like the real deal for 1/10 of the price of the actual gun. Just in case you really really got to have on in your hand. You can get one with short barrel too. :)
