I think I saw one tonite in Sin City.

How was Sin City? That's one I'm actually considering spending money on.

Y'all aren't gonna believe this, but there is an AUG in the movie "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka", by the Wayans Bros. I almost spit when I saw it.....but now I can't remember if it was black or green :wink:

Its an extremely faithful adaptation of the comic books/graphic novels. If you go in knowing that and that it'll be F'd up, then you'll like it.

I wouldn't call it a classic movie by any means, but its worth seeing to see just how strange it is.

All I needed to know, I'm definitely going to see it.

Die Hard definitely put the AUG on the map and into peoples consciousness. I may be wrong but I think there was one in The Crow.

Was there one in Point Break, too???? Maybe I'm thinking of something else. Speaking of weapons in movies, though, I just watched Heat again, for the eleventy-seventh time.......what a fine array of gattery in that flick. When I first saw it, I made it my mission to acquire each of the weapons in the movie. Mission (very recently) accomplished!

There was an AUG in the original version of the movie Le Femme Nikkita.


Sin City was a great movie, I really liked it! I went in expecting messed up... but I still was kinda suprised at just how dark and violent it was, great flick! LOL

Marv was the man... I could watch an entire movie about just his character!

Aug sighting in Sin City confirmed. Watched it last night.

The RECRUIT with Al Pacino there is a scene where they are the CIA Farm and the female lead is attaching a silencer to one for practice. Very cool looking AUG.

Just saw a movie called The Package with Gene Hackman and Tommy Lee Jones that featured a couple of AUGs used in an assassination attempt on a Russian military leader.

Sudsy Aug

The first Aug I remember was in La Femme Nikita, that probably was the most famous for me and started my Aug fetish. I always liked takedown guns used by assasins. Great examples are "The Day of the Jackal" and Frank Sinatra in "The Naked Runner" where he used a Mauser Pistol with a stock. Le Femme is my favorite as she assembles the gun and completes her mission by taking out the "woman in brown". Also when she pulls the Aug out of the bathtub covered in suds is a classic.

Fast

There was one in the movie "Surviving the Game" with ICE-T, where an AUG used by one of the main baddies. Very cool movie with high recomendations to all who have not seen it.

Heat has got one of the best shootouts of any movie ever.

On a side note, very cool site 8) . Just found it tonight searching the glocktalk forums.

Was it the “Sniper” movie with Tom Berenger that had a lady assembling an AUG at the end of the table, who said, “With this, she could shoot the bal*s off of a butterfly at 100 yards?”

I just saw "The Transporter" and one of the bad guys has an AUG.
