Is the only magazine option for the M357 a 10 or 12 round mag?
I must have a mental block with 2 extra rounds constituting high capacty... And the price difference between the 10 round vs 12 round magazines.
If 10 rounds of .357 won't get it done, what are the chances the last 2 will? Just kidding, I really don't want to start that debate.
Pretty good if the first 10 were body shots and the last 2 are going to be head shots
I suppose anything over the cali-legal 10 rounders is considered "high cap".
that is a good point. What exactly is the definition of high capacity?
When you find that one, you might want to look up assault weapon, next.
The definition of high capacity is simple..........Bill Clinton. They are REGULAR compacity.....vs a limited magazine....of 10.......
SO, what's a Sig P220
They aint Hi cap
ever see a doublestack 1911?
regular capacity magazine. one that fits flush with the handle and doesnt have extra empty space due to legislation
10rnds was just a compromise some sell outs made and were able to get an agreement around the table. some states got more and some states have less and are working on just banning it all. Chicago and D.C. among the banned list unless your privileged class.
Technically a HiCap is a magazine above the designed capacity that the gun normally comes with and sticks out. Those 30 round Glock mags ARE HI CAP, jus like those 20+ round .38 super 1911 IPSC mags.
After the AWB sunsetted people were offering NORMAL mags as hi-cap because it marketed better than "non-neutered" magazines.
Steyr was one of few guns that there weren't over priced normal mags floating around for because there were none in country that pre-dated the ban. Hence the 10 rounders that a bunch of distributers had in stock are now going at very discounted prices and the normal mags are the normal prices since they came in off the boat after the ban.
As long as your gun came w/ the normal 2 full capacity mags then why not buy a few of the closeout 10rounders?
