theres a Glock loader that works fine on my S40. I have not yet purchased it. i do not recall what model it was intended for. I will find out for you.

Any opinions on these http://www.magloader.com/
I have heard the the G19 loader works well for the 9's.

The tough part is that they Stery mags are a little wider then most other double stack mags. I think a G21, or G20 mag loader would be perfect.
yes.. the wider ones do work.. i thought about getting one. but i guess ive gotten better at relaoding magazines quickly.. i go to the range with 5 mags full and go through about 3/4 boxes once i get there.

As for the ones on magloader.com i have never seen or heard of them before.
I have an aftermarket loader for a Glock. The simple slip-over/push-down type.

It was definitely too narrow, but I dremelled the inside a bit and it fits a little better. Still not optimal, though.

Frankly, I never use it anymore. After a short time, the mag springs get broken in a little bit (as does your thumb). I load my mags by hand now; it took me 15 minutes just to find my loader (and it doesn't even say which model Glock it is for, and that's why I looked for it!)
I use the HKS Model 452, which I believe was labelled for a Glock, but works just fine for all of my Steyr mags (S9 & M9). I'm left-handed, so it's a little clumsy, but sure saves the thumbs. I bulk buy loose 9mm ammo, so just throw the loader in the can with the ammo and it is there when I need it.
My buddies gave me one of his 9mm glock loaders (over the top push down type) and it works fine for my M9.

Well, just yesterday I went over to my fav gun shop (Virginia Arms) to pick up a Glock mag loader and Hogue Handall. Guy that helped me advised me to try them out to see that they work. Good thing too, as none of the mag loaders (Glock 9mm included) worked well! :( They did not, however, have the HKS 452 in stock so I'll have to find that elsewhere to try out. Still, I bought the Handall and it looks and shoots awesome! :D 8)

The standard slipover pushdown loader for my Glock 19 works just fine on the S9/M9 mags. However the lever/thumb activated speedloader I bought for the Glock mags - an HKS I think - doesn't work at all.

This is less of a problem for me as I find the Steyr mags pretty easy to load manually - I often recycle the chambered round after cleaning and it slots right in there even though it's number 10. While I can do that with the 15 round G19 mags too it's considerably less easy and comfortable on the thumbs.

Just grab a $5 factory loader from Glockmeister if you don't have an equivalent Glock to use the supplied loader from that.

Well, thats the thing. I tried the 9mm Glock loader and it didn't seem to work very well. I mean it push down the mag but it didn't look like there was enough to comfortably insert a cartridge. Hard to believe as many folks said that this loader works quite well with the Steyr mags. :?
