This may be somewhere else, but with a quick "search" I didn't see it.
Anyway, my new M9-A1 came with 2 mags, which were supposed to be 17 round mags.
Well, loading 16 and 17 takes effort but it can be done, but my question is: The indicator only goes to 15 rounds on the punch-out holes on the mag itself.
Has the spring been modified to accept 17 (it will) or do some come with a "17" indicator.
Just curious.

For the 17 rds mag, the bottom cap says "PLUS" and a little thicker.

The 15 rds is just plain flat and thin.

This is similar to what a 17rd mag looks like, notice the thick base plate and "PLUS" on it.

Here's a standard 15rd mag, notice the thin base plate.
Both mags have even #'s on right side and odd #'s on left and both mags only go up to 15rd hole count ("PLUS" mag holds 17rds though but it's not noted on the hole count) The main difference is the base plate as mentioned.
