Well, I had a 10% off evilbay coupon, so I ordered 2 of the Fobus 6900 double mag holders from a guy. Was about $40 for both. They should be in next week.
I also have been using a generic uncle mike's Velcro and a snap double mag holder but want something open to grab quick.
I was given a Bianchi double mag pouch with snap cover and find it fits a little to snug for my taste. Great holder as its compact but the mags have no room between to easily grab.
Picts on the way!! My M40A1 in my Stingray and the Fobus as well as my GB!!
Never heard of it, but at that price I'd order one or two. Only downside I can see is there's a bit close together which might slow you down a beat or so on a reload, but maybe not. I'm happy with my Fobus double-mag holders.
If you are going for a conceal carry holster I'd recommend a ubg inside the waistband holder I wear one with my M9A1 15 shot magazine I would recommend the manufacturer because it takes a bit longer but the quality of the mag holsters and his holsters for steyr pistols are great with great help if you ever need it.
UPDATE: I got my Fobus' in the mail, but they are the paddle kind, now I have to mail them back and pay to have the correct ones mailed to me. My mistake for not reading the ad better or verifying before I ordered. Live an learn.
Just started IDPA ( again ) and was looking to update my rig for an M9. My M9 runs great, and have some of BT’s upgrades, blade tech holster is solid but wanted some nice single mag holsters. Could not find any I really liked so I modified some made for the other Austrian pistol.
I started with a Safariland 773 mag holster for glock 17/22. Then replaced the rollers with a 15/16 inch long section of 17.5 mm diameter rubber tube ( I found spear fishing bands to work great).
The setup works really well. Mags don’t move and the rubber tube has the added benefit of acting like a tensioning system, the more the rubber tube is squeezed, the greater the tension against the mag.
