Ok,

I know alot of people on here own the new Steyr MA1 series of pistols either in 9mm or .40 caliber (haven't seen any reports of .357). I personally own an M-40 and was wondering how much better, if at all, the new MA1 series really is?

I have seen some threads where there have been reports of a lack of brass flecks in the new MA1 and I wondering if that was true?

Is the MA1 just an M-series with a Rail?

Is the ejection pattern improved in the MA1 series?

Does the load chamber indicator on the MA1 dent the brass at the 12 o'clock?

Can anyone point me to some great online review of the MA1 or magazine reviews?

THANKS

Combat Handguns

An article about the M9a1/M40a1 in Combat Handguns, Feb 2005, Page 10.

Not sure it will have the info that you want, but it is the only review of it that i know of....and a pretty positive review at that.

Scanning an article and posting it is a violation of copyright law. [-X

Of course, it's not my place to scold, but a decision as to whether to allow that practice should probably be left to the site owner, as they are the ones who will receive the cease-and-desist letter...

do what i did, pick the tuxes, and just show up. Your input on the rest of it is purely for form's sake she'll do what she wants so let her.

Actually id did do the catering also, but that was done a day a head and i had a buddy finish it up and put it out.

No problem.

I think that having the main points of that review will be very helpful to alot of people who are members and those potential members that visit this site. I've seen this topic of "should i wait for the A1" over and over and its hard for people to give geniune advice as not awhole lot of us have an A1 yet or have even fired one.

I think it will just be really great to have a nice review on the A1 to help people make an informed choice, myself included.

Thanks
