My local Gander Mountain has 2 M9s right now....one used for $280...looks pretty much brand new to me....and a brand new one...$350...so tempted to buy the used one....

Do it - you know you want to. Can't have too many M9s, now can you?

Failing that, which GM are you talking about? If it's the one in Germantown, I might just go there over lunch and remove the temptation for you. I'm sure they'd be happy to sell me another M9. ;)

    race you there!

kidding....another M9 and my fiance would have a fit.....frankly any more guns buys before the wedding and there will probably not be a wedding...lol

yes it is at the Germantown one..I only live about 2 miles form there....such temptations on a daily basis....027 serial number....looks mighty clean...didn't actually handle it but it sure looked nice behind the glass...

now if i could just catch them with an M40 at $280....i might just risk sneaking that one past the wife to be....

You a Falls/Germantown area guy?...where do you shoot?

Not exactly - I work in Mequon and live in Madison (before you think I'm completely nuts, I lived downtown until a couple weeks ago, and I'm currently looking for a job in Madison).

Anyway, I'm pretty new to this whole gun-ownership thing - my M9 was my first gun, and I bought it in February - so I'm still looking for places to shoot. So far, in the Milwaukee area, I go to The Shooter's Shop, Badger Outdoor, and Fletcher Arms. What I wish I had was a range close enough to my office for me to occasionally go shooting over lunch, even if only for half an hour. As it stands now, I haven't been shooting since I moved; the commute really makes stopping at a range after work less appealing.
