My new A1 is shooting quite a bit high and I see there are lateral sight adjustments to both front and rear sights but I see no way to adjust the heighth. Am I missing something?
sounds like the target... sorry, its late......no, I don't think they're adjustable............My M40 shoots slightly off too........my M9's are great though...............
Unfortunately Steyr doesn't offer different height front or rear sights to help adjust for elevation. You can try different ammo or reloading your own to try and change your POI. Higher velocity somtimes can get lower POI. Seems backwards but the higher velocity round leaves the barrel sooner and thus at the lower point of the gun's recoil arc and thus have a lower POI. Or just learn to hold under for your case.
