I tried sending an email to jeff at steyrarms but still no answer. what i really need is the firing pin spring. mine seems a little loose because i got a few ftf's last week at the range. might be the ammo i used but i still want to find out where i could get the springs just in case i need to change it.

What ammo? Does your striker assembly still have the c-clip that retains the spring (the part that Big Taco's glide-rite bushing replace)? If that piece was missing, I would expect your spring to be loose... You should post a picture of the striker assembly if you suspect there is some problem with it. The springs do not really wear out (or at least, that is never cited as a problem) - I don't think that is your issue.
