m 40 trigger

I just picked up my first Steyr on monday and I have no complaints as of yet. The Sn is 16xxx, does this weapon need some type of trigger upgrade? Has Steyr had some type of recall for trigger problems? I have read some mentions of trigger upgrades from steyr and Im just looking for some clarification. Thanks to all of you for providing this info to others.

serial numbers below 10k had an 8lb trigger.
anything over that has a 5lb trigger.
you can get a new style 5lb if you have the old style.

clean and lube as per our tutorials (including the extractor removal one) and go shoot the snot out of it and enjoy :lol:

then report back how it went
